... have had this laptop for over a year now and have downloaded loads on to it eg- msn, limewire etc and it hasn t slowed it down like many other laptops. It is easy to use with many great features including power selector where you can change the power supply for when its not plugged in so the battery lasts longer. Compaq Presario CQ60-107EA ... specs shown for the laptop are not the same as mine even though I have the same laptop. Rather than having a 120GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM mine has 4GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. This is a very good laptop especially if you need one for college work which is my main use for it. The built in webcam is quite good although not really brilliant, there is a small light next to it which you would presume gives some light when using the web cam when it is dark, but its really no use what so ever meaning you need a light on which sometimes can be annoying especially as this light it supposed to work. Sony Vaio A617S ... bought one of these back in January 2006. Initially I was more than pleased with my purchase. It looked great, ran smoothly, had all the features I wanted in a large-screened portable. It even ran a few games quite well (F.E.A.R, Half-Life 2). With the memory-stick slot on the front I was able to quickly transfer photographs from my Sony digital camera etc, and I was happy. I found that Sony, irritatingly, had partitioned the slightly meagre 80Gb HDD into two equal parts, so my installed OS partition was rapidly approaching full, even though I store most of my data separately. Asus X51RL-AG148E ... Cheap Laptop! I puchased this laptop from eBuyer about a year ago now and it came with 2gb Ram, 160gb hard drive which is different to specified on this page. However, it is a brilliant Windows Vista Premium laptop. Very stong and durable. I have dropped it three times now and it remains alive much to my shock each time I have dropped it off my desk onto a wood floor! Once with the screen wide open, it survived without any damage whatsoever and this has impressed me. I think it s been bodybuilding its very strong!
