Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-155 ... laptop is set at an amazing price!it is a great entry laptop for anyone. the hard drive is a decent size however, if you are the type that downloads movies you might want to get your self an external hard drive. the 1GB of ram is standard there s days an is ok however if running vista it can make multi tasking a little harsh on the speed. this laptop has 2 RAM slots allowing it to be upgraded to 2GB, however the current ram cards are 2x 512Mb cards meaning that you will have to get rid of them an replace them with 2x1GB cards if i wish to upgrade that much, it is still possible to upgrade to 1.5GB, however it still wont provide the performance you would be looking at... Acer Aspire 5101AWLMi ... have had this laptop for nearly three years and i have had no problems with it. i really like this computer. The scroll pad on it is big and very easy to use. it has a built in camera that can rotate. its 15.4" screen is perfect for watching DVDs as well as having great image quality with the LCD screen it also has very good audio quality. the only thing i would say that is bad about the laptop is the fact that when travelling with it it is heavier than some other laptops and its battery life is maximum an hour if surfing the net and listening to music.
