Acer Aspire 3692WLMi ... I must say I didn t but my Acer laptop - It is a work laptop and I had no choice over the make or model. Having said this I am pretty happy with what I got! The Acer Aspire series, although not the most expensive of the Acer range, provide a reasonable level of performance. The HDD of 100GB is plenty big enough for all my work folders, my personal photo collection from about 30 holidays, my itunes collection and other bits and pieces. The reliability of the machine has been excellent. The 15.4" widescreen TFT screen displays colours which are vibrant and bright and this is even more apparent when producing displays and presentations for work. My one issue w... HP Pavillion dv8387ea ... love this machine! This was the first laptop which I ever owned I got it last year in preparation for moving to Uni and i still sit here today typing on it now. I don t feel that the laptop has aged at all, It has been extremely reliable and still has the specifications to cope with most of the latest games and other software which is being released. The computer is packed with great features such as the 5 in one card reader, i also liked the media playing facilities this computer has. Below the screen there are a row of touch sensitive buttons which allow really easy watching of dvd s or media files. There is a wireless switch on the front of the laptop which makes it ... Dell Inspiron XPS M1530 ... laptop is superfast, even with Windows Vista. It s good looking, it s slim and could pass for a large book in a bag. The keyboard is easy to use, and the media buttons (play, stop, forward, back, eject etc) make playing music or dvds trouble free. The wi fi catcher is also really useful. The only minus points I can think of with this laptop is that: a. the fans are noisy, so if you are the kind of person who reveres silence it is perhaps not the laptop for you. If you have music playing or the tv on though you will likely not notice it. b. the dvd drive is a slot loading drive, which means that firstly it will not play eco-dvds (flexible dvds that are environmental...
