Toshiba Satellite Pro 2100 ... Toshiba Satellite Pro p2100 (model p210e) is quite a chunky piece of machinery, recommended for small business and corporate use. At a glance it does look a bit bulky and dated, but it has a very wide range of capabilities and built in functions. I have seen this notebook computer retail at prices ranging from £400 to £700. It has an Intel Pentium 4 processor which runs at 1.7Ghz. The notebook comes with a 30gb hard drive, 256mb RAM (memory), floppy disk drive and DVD ROM providing you will all the essentials. Dell Inspiron 6000 Essential ... purchased this Dell 1 and a half years ago thinknig it would be great for the use I wanted it for, paying games, downloading music, and music production software. At first, it was...but now, a year and a half later the problems have begun. I am having to completly back-up everything on my hard drive and re-install Windows XP Home Edition, as the computer is so slow, always stalls, programs never responds, and music playback it always stuttering. I have always had the latest Virus protection software in Norton Anti Virus, regularly run SpyWare checks, and am extra cautious with what I download, so it cannot be put down to viruses.
