Dell Latitude E6400:
... little laptop. I have just been brought one of these by my work and they are brilliant. It has a super bright LCD screen, which closes very nicely and secure and a AMAZING battery life. Even when you are running high power consuming programmes it still dosent take much juice! HP Compaq Business Notebook 6735s ... ve had this laptop for about 10 months now, and it continues to impress. It came with Vista Home Premium, and we got it for a truly amazing deal at the time: it cost £320, and it came with 4GB RAM and a dualcore 2.4GHZ AMD processor, dvdrw, bluetooth, 320GB HDD, a larger 12-cell battery and a nice 15.4" screen, so not exactly the same spec as that listed here. For the price the specification is absolutely incredible. It boots vista with remarkable speed compared to our other laptop which has 2GB of RAM and a dualcore 1.44GH processor, and the rest of the specification is similarly good. Dell Vostro 1500 ... ve had my Dell Vostro 1500 for about 2 years now- I bought it through work and got a great price of £380 on it. The price included a lot of free extras, which at the time made it an amazing buy: it has bluetooth, dvd/rw, 2GB ram, a dual-core 1.5GHZ intel processor, and a GF 8400MS graphics card, making it more than enough laptop for my needs, and all loaded onto a copy of Windows Vista Business. I predominantly use my laptop for the internet and word processing (being a student) but I also use it for guitar recording with a Line6 toneport and it handles it with aplomb.
