... is one of the best inventions! it runs great and perfect. mackintosh is soo much more reliable then Windows. mac is so much more reliable then PC s. The graphics are so clear, its are amazing for designers, i use a lot of adobe programs. I used to hate the fact i cant right click but it really doesnt bother me anymore esp when ive learnt all the short cuts. You can still right click by using CTRL/apple then ... Apple PowerBook G4 M8592B/A ... acquired this laptop from a friend who was upgrading. I wanted to try using a mac before I made the investment of buying a new one. This laptop is more than 4years old (i m not sure exactly) but it still manages to keep up with everything that I need to use it for in 2009. Things it can deal with fine: Skype (but no webcam so must be bought separately) Web browsing Google sketchup (basic engineering / design software) Logic Pro 7 (crashes very occasionally) Microsoft office for mac (slightly slow to load up but works fine when open) I Tunes (slow connecting to itunes store) The other great thing about this mac is it doesn t seem to develop fundamental software probl... Sony Vaio S3HP ... I bought this laptop the specificatiosn were amongst the best for a laptop with this screen size. As a result I paid a premium price for this product though I cant say I was disappointed. On arriving I was incredibly impressed with quality build of this product. Whilst the laptop was light it managed to do this yet feel both sturdy and well built. 4 years on and I am still using this laptop though I have upgraded the hard drive and memory which is easy enough to do though not recommended during warranty period. Ergo Vista 201 ... is a very simple design, that is also sturdy and inexpensive (with its plastic frame). It is also very functional, with a good sized 15.4" screen. However one thing that could be said is that it is not a show piece. But for a reasonable price that isn t what you expect. With a good range of features including wi-fi, 512mb ram memory and intel centrino it is a good all round laptop. The graphics are also very good and it offers a good powerful performance. It has a fairly long lasting battery as well for up to around 4 hours. Another good thing is that it doesnt get over heated at all really, even if it is left plugged in and left on for several hours.
