... review this as someone whose knowledge of computer s is not strong, so my impressions are entirely opinion based and not on numbers. The laptop runs Vista but can be updated to 7. Fairly lightweight and small for a laptop (I ve seen far bigger) means that I have taken this to school and all around the house to use. Apple MacBook MB881B/A ... have never had a Mac before, this Macbook was my first Mac ever. I did not know if it would be any good but good things are always said about Macs and the fact that most of the people in my family had moved over to Macs. They helped me to get a Mac. I have only had it couple days and am very pleased with it so far. Their s only couple of things which I do not like about it which will be pointed out in this review. I got a Macbook couple of days ago and so far am extremely impressed with my Macbook. Starting off Mac OS X Leopard is a very cool fresh change from Windows it looks fresher and newer. Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 ... January I bought my Toshiba Satellite L300-1G6 for the bargain price of £399 from John Lewis. Overall it is an extremely good laptop, however I was prompted to write this review by the fact that it now has a fault! I ll just explain the fault first as apparently it s quite a common one with Toshiba Satellite laptops, although it is one that should be easily fixed. I recently noticed that it was getting more difficult to plug the charger into the laptop in order to charge the battery or use mains power, & soon realised that the power jack (the little metal bit that the charger plugs into) was quite loose & wobbly. Dell Inspiron 1720 ... have just bought one of these to replace my rather dead, and always quite unreliable Acer laptop. I have been using my new Dell for around 3 weeks now and can only say its great! To start with the screen - it s a very crisp and stunning picture at all times, which I have noticed both when watching films and looking at pictures, but in particular when working on documents or webpages with quite a lot of writing - I no longer have to squint because everything is so much sharper.
