Sony Vaio A617S ... bought one of these back in January 2006. Initially I was more than pleased with my purchase. It looked great, ran smoothly, had all the features I wanted in a large-screened portable. It even ran a few games quite well (F.E.A.R, Half-Life 2). With the memory-stick slot on the front I was able to quickly transfer photographs from my Sony digital camera etc, and I was happy. I found that Sony, irritatingly, had partitioned the slightly meagre 80Gb HDD into two equal parts, so my installed OS partition was rapidly approaching full, even though I store most of my data separately. Compaq Presario CQ71-140EA ... well, finally a decent laptop for Under £500. I got this through a recent insurance claim after my Acer Laptop decided to die a death and wouldnt work, so the insurance firm was happy to give me up to £500 to spend on a new laptop. And here was my choice, having purred over a new laptop for ages I was finally able to make myself happy and go for the Compaq Presario CQ71. With 4GB of RAM and 2Ghz Dual Core processors, it ll happily make light work of pretty much any program you can throw at it. a Huge 17.3 inch screen with superb colours and HDMI output and speakers that simply blow your socks off(for a laptop obv) Ive never been happier with a laptop, unless someo... Toshiba Equium P200D 139 ... product is great i often play games onit and do my work. It was alot faster than expected. For the price its definetly a must buy ! I have had the product a few months now and nothing has gone wrong , The kids love it and i cant get them off it , i may even buy them one each. I did buy this product for general office work but when i realised its potential i started using it to play games on at first i was unsure but after i started it was just amazing. I also bought one for my Husband again he loves it , uses it for more work based activities .
