... have never had a Mac before, this Macbook was my first Mac ever. I did not know if it would be any good but good things are always said about Macs and the fact that most of the people in my family had moved over to Macs. They helped me to get a Mac. Sony Vaio N38E/W ... a laptop!, reliable and fast, and has such a big harddrive considering its size. The screen seems massive when you open it and the memory is very good. But i don t seem to have my dvd writer running for some reason. It just doesnt seem to be able to finalize the disc properly so be wary. In terms of use, i ve never had a problem with it, be sure to clean or defrag the hard-drive quite regularly before anything bad happens to it, i.e. the blue screen of death, which is what i got after 2 years! Mobility of this laptop is not as easy as others due to its big screen but, as a tool to use round the house its good. Now for the bad part, the battery life, you need to keep ... Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-155 ... never owned or really wanted to own a lapotop I received this as part of the AOL internet promotion. Initially I was sceptical as to its performance and for it to be given away for free I was worried it wouldnt be able to perform to the level I required. How wrong I was. I have found its hardware components more than capable of dealing with anything I require it to do, be it listening to music, creating cds, editing images or general internet usage. The laptop is fitted with a built in webcam and speaker that I often use with skype to contact friends and family overseas. Apple MacBook MB402B/A ... being my first review, I thought what better way to start than reviewing the thing I am writing on. I have owned Macs for a while now, my sister had one, my mum had one and now I have my own (it s a family of MacBooks!). I think it s it s a given that there are Mac people and PC people. However, PC people maybe thinking of coming over to the good side ☺ and what better way to do this than with the MacBook laptop.
