Sony Vaio N21E/W: ... processor it is a good value laptop that has the Pedigree of being a Sony. it does however fall a bit short on the speed. now this may be effected because of the Windows vista and only a comparitivly small amount of ram. 1GB is not enough when Vista eats up half of it to just run. Given that it still manages to play some basic games and plays dvds fine. its slyeish and easy to use with a battery life of 2-3 hours....

	Toshiba Satellite L30-11E ... the stated amount is 1.5 hours but I guess that is on very low performance. The screen can very in contrast from very dull and easier for the eyes, or, very bright so you can see everything clearly. The graphics are decent considering it is capped at 128MB with the standard 512MB installed memory. I am going to upgrade the memory to 1.5GB to improve the speed of the performance as it is a bit slow with vista. Hopefully the graphics will be improved aswell as it can go up to 256MB. 	Acer Aspire 5103WLMi ... I have only had my laptop for a few weeks, but I really wanted one for work. As I work on online bingo I was always stuck sat at my pc, so I got this laptop as I thought it was good value for money and it looked really nice also. Now when I first switched my laptop on once I took it out of the box, it did initially take a while to start up, I had to enter my windows update disc to get it to start. That was all too easy, so away I went starting to get used to my laptop, when I finished I closed my lid without turning it off. 	HP Pavilion Media Center Tx1020ea Entertainment ... I wouldn t try Vista until all the bugs had been fixed. I was browsing Ebay a couple of months ago and saw this particular computer staring at me from the picture section. So, at the ludicrous low price it was at, I purchased it and it arrive in about a week. As you can see, its stats are amazing and even I couldn t find a bug in Vista. Its DVDRAM drive is easily enough for my media needs, I can write 5GB DVDs for pics and text, the RAM is easily enough for my lifestyle (about 5 browsers at once!) and the network adapters are amazing.
