... this is a very media friendly laptop, it tries to incorporate media keys to make it more user friendly. There are music keys at the top of the laptop and these work very well with the media center program inside of windows vista home premium.

Asus F3Sv AK039E ... for watching movies and listening to music loudly. At 2 gigabytes of RAM, it doesn't run too slowly, though you might want to ramp it up a bit more if you're running lots of programs. Its graphics aren't the best; I'm running World of Warcraft at about 20-30 frames per second consistently which definitely isn't optimal, but it's playable. It comes with Windows Vista, which isn't as bad as everyone says it is. It's easy to use. However, I have one note about the laptop's durability: it's not been banged around that much, I don't think, and I can already see chips and cracks on the metal surface. Sony Vaio CR21S/W ... of 2 GB / 4 GB (max) worth of ram and its massive 160GB hard drive and has an average 2.4 hour worth of battery life. The computer comes with windows vista and runs smoothly, however vista uses around 46% of the RAM. This makes no difference when using any of Microsoft offices programs e.g Microsoft word etc, on the other hand when playing games it really has an effect on the speed therefore causing lag. Finally the battery is really on the weak side however i am sure better batteries are available, but i would imagine they are pretty pricey. Acer Extensa 5620-1A2G16 _XPP ... it appear a bit dull but it doesn't look terrible and actually looks kind of modern. It only has a basic 1gb of ram installed however it is just a basic laptop and with a cheap price so you cant really expect that much out of it. It can handle a maximum of 2gb though so you could easily buy another 1gb of ram for under £20 and just easily install it so that it would be a lot quicker and this is probably something I would do. Also a basic feature is the installed hard drive which is only 80gb. Again this isn't a lot however it should be enough for most people and if not you could easily just buy a portable hard drive to store anything else you might need on. In terms o...
