Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook T4010 ... fantastic price of £150, which is a bargain considering that the original retail price of this marvellous piece of machinery is set at approximately £1700. The only difference between the T4010 and the T4010D is that the latter comes with a Pentium M725 1.6GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. However, the one I bought had been upgraded to 2GB of RAM which I believe is the maximum it can take. The Lifebook itself is quite weighty but it s very solid and sturdy and has a modern sleek and curvy design. This is also a Tablet PC and when it s open it looks pretty cool, especially the way that you can swivel the screen around, which is protected by a thick protective layer, and... Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-292 ... been attached to my desktop for as long as I can remember, I got a bit of a shock when this was loaned to me by my uni for my work. I asked them for something that did better than the older, smaller laptop, and boy does this deliver! I m usually moving about a lot, but when I sit down, I want to get to what I want quickly. Luckily, the Toshiba can run either Vista or have XP installed (the one I m using is XP Pro) and has a quick load up time in comparison to some of the other laptops I ve tried. Apple MacBook Pro MB990B/A ... on the MacBook Pro is amazing, no matter what im doing it seems to last for a few hours, which is always handy if i go out without my lead. It has a webcam, bluetooth, cd drive, USB ports, SD card reader, and loads of other stuff i probably don t know much about. It comes in three sizes which are 13 inch, 15 inch and 17 inch, it has 2GB of memory built in, an operates on OS X Leopard 10.5.7. A good feature is that it has a light under the keypad which helps when using the laptop in low light situations. The keypad is easy to use with the size and placing of the keys making typing fun.
