	Lenovo Thinkpad T41 2373 ... 4 M (Mobile) processor and is pretty good for a machine this old. The specifications list the T41 with 512MB of RAM (Random Access Memory that lets you run programs). The more memory there is, the more programs you can run at a time and more smoothly the machine can run. Despite the specification, mine actually came with a whopping 1GB (1024MB) of memory, which is brilliant as it has Microsoft Windows XP Professional run and I personally wouldn t want to use XP with anything less than 512MB of RAM. 	Dell Latitude D410 Essential ... found this is a great laptop for surfing the internet and its compact size means that it can be tucked away at home when not in use or taken on trips away from home. The size still provides a big enough screen to view movies or your favourite programmes on BBC iplayer The only real disadvantage I have found is the battery life. Mine seems to only last 30mins at the most, but as my laptop was second hand ti may simply be that it needs a new one! Another thing that bothers me is the waste of space near the mouse. Does it really need two sets of buttons for the mouse? Other than that, great basic laptop with all the features needed for a first time buyer. The sound ... 	Apple iBook M9009B/A ... owned an ibook for about two years and I would say that the home user not looking to run anything too powerful they are excellent. I however ended up wanting to run graphics programs on there and store a lot of images and the ibook did struggle with this. In terms of everyday use, I had a lot of fun with this laptop, so if you want a stylish, reliable and highly usable machine for emailing, downloading, word processing and lighter picture use/editing this could be perfect.
