... have found the Fujitsu-siemens Amilo 7400 an amazing and powerful tool. It has less processing power than my standard pc, yet it runs faster!! For home use, it has a more than enough power to cope with gaming (although I haven t tried it online as yet), complex Photoshop graphics and general day to day items. Being the first time I have owned a laptop, I have nothing to really compare it to. I do find the battery life on the short side, as once it s below 50% the power just seems to drain quickly. The best price online at the moment is about £985 so it has come down a bit since last year but now comes with a larger hard drive than when I bought it (60GB). So what has it got? The spec of the machine when I bought it was really good compared with the equivalent desktop versions that were only a couple of hundred pounds (at the most) cheaper than the Toshiba.
