Apple iBook M9009B/A ... owned an ibook for about two years and I would say that the home user not looking to run anything too powerful they are excellent. I however ended up wanting to run graphics programs on there and store a lot of images and the ibook did struggle with this. In terms of everyday use, I had a lot of fun with this laptop, so if you want a stylish, reliable and highly usable machine for emailing, downloading, word processing and lighter picture use/editing this could be perfect. I did use webcam on there a few times and this really slowed the system down and it was not really useable with webcam. One excellent feature of the ibook is that it is extremely light and portab... Samsung Q30 Silver 1100 ... type on. The dimensions are a pretty neat 28.8 cm x 19.6 cm x 2.4 cm. The Q30 runs on Windows XP Professional which was preinstalled. It isn t the fastest machine to use however, especially by today s standard of super fast machines. It has a paltry 512 MB of RAM and runs on an Intel Pentium M Processor 1.10 Ghz. The hard drive is 40 GB and there are two USB slots. All this seems pretty appalling today when you can pick up small netbooks that run on Linux for under £150 in Tesco with a similar spec, but none of these netbooks are anything like as sleek as the Q30 and lack some of the better features. IBM Thinkpad X31 2673 ... created an account on this web site mostly to complain about something else, and I wanted the karma to balance out, so here is a review of what I think is one of the best laptops ever.
