HP Compaq Business Notebook Nc4010 ... is a great little laptop! I was looking around for a cheap laptop to complete my course work on while at college. I came across this little laptop while looking at a referb shop on ebay. The laptop came with all the specifications above appart from the 1GB RAM that it had been upgraded to. The Laptop is thin, portable and generally quiet. Installing Windows XP Pro can be difficult (or it was for me) since there is no CD Drive, everything has to be installed by USB Flash drive, or other USB external devices. The temperature of the laptop doesn t seem to be an issue, it does get hot (as all laptops do) but I have yet to see it burn my legs while using it (even while p... HP Compaq Business Notebook Nx9005 ... m afraid I wasn t very impressed by this laptop. I ve had quite a bit of trouble with, having had to replace the hard disk and the computer seems to overheat sometimes. Still having an A:\ disk drive is a huge help, although it does make the machine significantly bulkier and with the rise of USB sticks which carry much larger amounts of data I can see why they were phased out. The battery life isn t great - it only seems to last 1 hour with out the power lead (despite saying 3 hours on the battery monitor). Nowadays the technical specs. for this laptop don t hold up too well and I very much doubt it would be able to cope with Windows Vista. It crashes very easily now. I... Lenovo Thinkpad T42 2373 ... have been using T42 for over four years. it is not heavy and very reliable. it can work normally for so long time and never hurt me. Every time I fly, I take it. In comparison, some laptops of my friends got great trouble when they traveled in airplanes. The weight is not heavy (2.4 kg) and I like the LCD monitor greatly because it does not reflect lights. The layout design is attractive. it has 512Mb ram which can be upgraded to 2 Gb. The size of memory is good enough for normal use. It has an independent graphic card so it is also good to play many games. Overall I like it very much. If ask me for the drawback, the only one I can think out is the relatively short ...
