HP Compaq Business Notebook Nc2400 ... purchased this laptop in place of an old PC which really had seen better days. I went for a latop purely for space or the little space it needed. I use it in the house through wireless but never carry it out and about although it is very light. It is small but the functionality and capability is superb. I reguarly watch DVDs or listen to CDs whilst browsing the internet. The quality is really good especially given its size. As a non technical person, I find this laptop really good and would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy one. I have owned this about a year now and have never encountered any problems with it. Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 ... Satellite Pro A100. I am using this latop as I type. I have had it for over 3 years now, I have dropped it several times, I have spilt plenty of drinks on it, I have stood on it. ALL sorts. I honestly think this should be broken 10 times over. It has a 15.4" screen, which is crisp and smooth. On the left hand side of the keyboard area, there is a Play/Pause button, a stop button and a fast forward button. This is due to the fact that this laptop is EXCELLENT for playing music. The speakers are the best I have ever had on a laptop. Toshiba Satellite Pro L40-12S ... is the laptop I am typing from now, and for me it has outshone my expectations of it by some way. I bought this laptop a bit over a year ago and I think it was very cheap, about £350. For this price I was not expecting much in the way of performance or longevity however this laptop has defied the principle of more money, more ram means better. It does not have the best of specs, however it handles most applications perfectly fine. The only thing that it has a problem with The Sims, however this seems to be more of a general compatibility issue with windows vista.
