Lenovo 3000 C100 0761: ... looks same as laptops that cost twice as much. I am not thrilled with Cel-M 370 1.5GHz processor and memory is not enough at 256MB. 	Apple MacBook MA472B/A ... ve had my macbook for almost 6 months now and i love it. Mine is the white, core duo 60GB model (the cheapest one). This is my first mac after using windows os for years and although i still use windows pc s and laptops for work if i had the choice id use a mac all the time. The first thing you notice about the macbook is how good it looks its sleek, slim, stylish and lightweight, the glowing apple logo on the back looks really cool. Its really fast and has never really crashed in my 6 months of almost constant use. The changeover from windows was no hassle at all as macs recognise all windows file types. 	Toshiba Satellite P100-247 ... is a great laptop, it looks great, something a bit different from the usualy boaring design. The core Duo processor really makes a difference and 1GB of RAM is more than enough. I would have prefered a slightly bigger hard drive maybe 100GB but 80GB is fine as i use a desktop computer as well. The screen is large and very clear, graphics and games look great on it, and i have had no problems with dead pixels etc. The battery tends to drain pretty quickly especially when using processor heavy applications. 	Sony Vaio FS515E ... wise its power isn t great with an Intel Celeron M processor which aren t renound for their speed and its quite lacking with graphics power. Using on-board graphics mine can play basic games such as Theme Hospital and Age of Empires II but struggles heavily with nearly anything above this. Im quite happy with the HDD which has an 80GB capacity, which is defaultly split into 2 partitions. This is about 20GB more than most laptops of this price range. 512MB of memory is also pretty good, you have the option to add more but I wouldn t bother.
