	Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L1310G ... had one of these for a while, and was fairly happy with it. The pros: Cheap! You can buy this from Staples with 1yrs interest free credit if you spend £500. Beautiful to look at, with a big, clear display. Cons: Slow out of the box. It uses 256MB shared memory for its video, so with the 512MB ram it was supplied with it never worked very well. Why do manufacturers underspecify on ram like this? I bought 2GB for about £40-odd from Crucial memory, and after I did this, it was fast, but I d rather have paid more and not had to do this. 	Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 1720 ... most annoying thing I must mention when I was using this laptop was the fan noise. The noise its self isn t really loud, however it seems to come on at random moments when your using the laptop, and it doesn t even seem to be when running demanding programs, so this is something that really annoyed me about this laptop. This really is a good home laptops though, that is what its been designed for and it what it should be used for. There are quite a few problems if you were wanting to use this as a portable laptop to take on journeys and so on with you. The main huge glitch to this laptop is its very poor battery life. 	Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5535 ... it s a bit basic, however it wouldn t look out of place in a teenagers bed room either. Its really portable too, it only has a 15.4 inch screen however if you do want something to carry around with you through most of the day, this is a great thing. Also it only weighs 2.7 kg which is really light for a laptop. It features an Intel Celeron M 530 / 1.73 Ghz processor which runs the 1 gb of ram installed. Most laptops with 1 gb you would expect to cost at least £400, however you ll get this one for a great £300. This ram can even be upgraded to a maximum of 2 gb, however this could be quite pricey and iv had a look round and I couldn t even see any to buy. This lapto...
