	HP Compaq Business Notebook Nc8430 ... firstly its quite small, it also has a smaller screen size than most laptop. It has a 15.4 inch TFT screen, which is only about an inch smaller than most laptop screens a will take little getting used to. It also has active matrix technology. This is something being used by more and more laptop manufacturers to date, and its amazing results. Its makes the screen lighter, meaning the laptops lighter, its makes the screen sharper, the pictures shaper and brighter too and makes the whole computing experience so much better. It also only weighs 2.7 kg which is a nice weight for a laptop, it means you wont really feel all that weigh on your shoulder if you do have to carry it... 	Dell Inspiron 6400 Extreme ... is not caused by the wireless device itself as it runs perfectly for my housemates. I really like the media shortcut buttons at the front of the notebook which include mute, volume control, pause, back and forward. These allow quick and easy access to functions of media player. I tend to only use the notebook around the home so I feel that with my lifestyle, the weight of the notebook is not a problem however people who use it in transit may disagree. I should also mention that the notebook came installed with a lot of programs which I felt irrelevant to my lifestyle such as Roxy DVD and numerous internet connection software, amongst others. 	Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V3515 Edition ... not something I do lightly. High specs for the money aside, it's light and sturdy (surviving a drop on the floor with barely a scratch). The monitor is clear and bright, keyboard responsive & well sized. Even the touchpad is intuitive & easy to use- something I've never been able to endorse before. I originally bought this under duress- it was the cheapest laptop I could find still running XP, but I'm glad I did! Once I upgraded the memory it zipped through photoshop like lightening. The built-in wifi card has a long range, the CDRW is much speedier than I expected. My only negative (and I would have to be pushed to say it) would be the onboard speakers a...
