Apple MacBook MA472B/A ... i was lucky enough to go work for an architectural practice this last year (Glenn Howells) AN apple lovers paradise. It was the first time i have ever used a MAC and you know what? Once you go MAC you dont go back and thats a fact. This notebook was so easy to use, utilizes an intel chip and works like a dream. Fast, light weight and compact for traveling to and from the office. Loaded software is great, although i am not a great lover of Apples Internet browser (safari) and preferred to download firefox. Onboard webcam is great and i would also go for office 2003 for macs, hey Microsuck where is office 2007 for MAC? This machine makes computing easy and stylish. The... Dell Inspiron 6400 Extreme ... laptop for student and possibly gamer. this laptop is really value for money. i didn t have any problems with my dell inspiron since i bought it (half a year ago), even if you are sceptical because of vista, the operating system is not as bad as people think. I played games such as Crysis, Unreal tournament 3, Doom3, Need For Speed Carbon, The Witcher and Fifa 08 on this laptop without performance failure. The design is also very nice and simple and the laptop s weight is alright. (carrying around my laptop to uni - no back problems yet ^^). Furthermore the laptop does not over-heat and the fan is not too laud, these are two main annoying me features which are... Read the full review: Great Laptop by dogtag |

Dell Inspiron 9400 Superb ... was a company i tried to stay away from. I had heard some bad things about their customer service. After my beloved PC finally gave its last, shuddering blue screen of death, a-shopping i did go, albeit reluctantly. I needed something portable, I knew i was going to be moving around a lot, but I also needed to play games and rely on it to do everything i could do with my pc. I turned to Dell finally because they were the only company that could offer the hardware I needed at anything even approaching a sensible price. I was pleasantly surprised. Their sales website was easy to use and loaded fast. I havent yet had cause to call about any faults so although that ca... Read the full review: A great solid rock of a machine by nevikrose |
