... have had my Vaio laptop for almost a few years now and strikingly my laptop has not encountered any typical Windows Crash style problems -so already a minor plus point there. Set-up was easy and self-explanatory thanks to tutorials and wizards (and partially my own computer skills). Acer Travelmate 8204WLMi ... was very much in two minds as to whether or not to bother to write a review of this machine as it is now no longer a current Acer model. However, it is the one I have been using for well over two years and you can still pick them up on places like eBay. Based on my experiences you can decide for yourself whether you want to. When I bought the TravelMate I was still working in my former job as a Computer Consultant with a very large American software company. As a part of my job I had a laptop provided (Toshiba M100) and generally I used it both for work and, at home, for personal use. Dell Inspiron 6400 Extreme ... there i was just before christmas 07 and i thought to myself, im fed up of arguing with my sister over the computer and im fed up sitting out the kitchen to use it, so i decided to hunt around for a laptop. i went on many sites and just couldnt find anything. then i thought to check out dell and here we go the dell inspiron 6400 was my origonal choice laptop from the site and i ended up buying it. the screen is supurb, graffics good, memory big enough, very fast with 2gb of ram. dont think i need to say much more. i got mine with windows vista not XP and it works just as good. it also came with 15 month anti virus sofware from mcaffee. also had built in virus so a... Panasonic Toughbook W5 ... notebook model is equipped with processor wich has good performance for the owner purpose: Intel Core Duo with a frequency of 1 GHz and 2 MB Cache - fully cover the needs of mobile users. Availability 1 GB DDR-II (one module) - not the best or even not a desirable rate for a modern personal computer. Although the memory is possible to expand up to 2 GB, but it still not big for a laptop with such parameters. Hasten to reassure potential buyers: if you are not going to launch rockets into space, this configurations will satisfact you at all needs.
