... is a small piece of kit, and is therefore quite expensive. If size is not important, then for goodness sake buy something bigger and an awful lot cheaper. Dell Inspiron 6400 Essential ... must say, I was skeptical about Dell before purchasing my Inspiron 6400 two or so years ago. I d heard many bad things, and from what I d read Dell was seen as being in league with the devil (or perhaps CEO Michael Dell IS the devil, who knows?). However, having recently moved on to a more powerful, modern laptop I now feel I am in a fair positon to say that this reputation is almost completely unfounded. My 6400 was never the most powerful thing, with a very basic graphics card, only 1Gb of RAM and generally average specs it couldn t handle most modern games too well for example. Sony Vaio TX3HP/W ... have now had my Sony Vaio TX3HP for nearly two years. When I first bought it people thought it was absolutely tiny, but now as there are smaller laptops available is this one still up to scratch? Probably not. As the stats show the memory is pretty poor as is the processor. It is also comparitively expensive. However, mine was purchased for me while at uni and the size of the vaio was absolutely ideal, it can fit in my handbag and is very very light as it is made out of carbon fibre, which very much impressed my dad! Now that I have moved into the world of work I still appreciate the lightness of the laptop, where possible I prefer to take my vaio on the train rathe... Dell Inspiron 6400 Essential ... Inspiron 6400 is best suited for people who use a laptop for say Study purposes, for Presentations, for Development and yes of course for playing games. The major essential factor in purchasing a Laptop is its Processor and the Cache associated with it. Inspiron6400 has 2MB L2Cache. This cache makes it possible for the machine to provide with tremendous speed even if you have a low Ghz processor associated with it. Apart from the other features what you get from other Branded Laptops all i would like to say is Dell get the best configurable deal to you as you can customize almost everything in a Dell Laptop.
