Lenovo Thinkpad T61 8898 ... learned that Lenovo has taken over IBMs computer business i was skeptical whether IBMs legendary quality would be continued in the new line of laptops I am happy to confirm that this is the case. The build quality is superb with rubberized plastic the order of the day, input is handled by both a track-pad and and trackpoint allowing you to move the mouse without taking your hand off the keyboard. The screen while not hugely bright is good quality and readable under most lights. On the performance side of things (as long as you are not planning on playing games) the laptop goes like a charm with multitasking producing no noticeable slow down. The built in wireles... The price on the website is £429.97 however, I took a chance and opted for a box-opened model at the price of £407.44. I ordered on a Sunday evening and received it on Tuesday lunchtime at a cost of £17.57 On opening the box I found: 1 x laptop 1 x power cable 1 x Lenovo Service and Troubleshooting Guide 1 x Safety and Warranty Guide 1 x Quick Start Guide and various regulatory notices.
