Compaq Presario CQ60-107EA:
... specs shown for the laptop are not the same as mine even though I have the same laptop. Rather than having a 120GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM mine has 4GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. This is a very good laptop especially if you need one for college work which is my main use for it. HP Compaq Business Notebook Nx6325 ... is a very capable laptop for the average business man/woman. The tech specs are more than enough to handle running several applications including a media player, word processors and internet explorer. The fingerprint reader is a nice touch, adding a bit of an executive feel to the product. I tried running some low end games like unreal tournament and it didn t perform too well. I wasn t expecting it too but I was interested to see how much it could handle. The build quality feels very good. It has 3 USB ports which are handy for a number of physical add-ons, e.g. a mouse. Asus A6U-5064H ... machine, performs great for network administration tasks. Also used for some VB Express and ASP .Net development. Works flawless with Virtual PC solutions, and was able to have 2 virtual machines running at the same time. Upgraded RAM to 2GB and HDD to 320 GB, this one really outperforms other machines. On battery it works for up to 4 hours without wifi and with screen bright to a minimum. with regular screen bright, wifi and a usb mouse it delivers 2:30 hours (at least for me) working with one virtual machine and some regular network traffic. Acer Aspire 3003WLMi ... you will see from my previous reviews, you will know that i have the Dell Inspiron 640 laptop (this replaced the Acer that i am about to review). Well to be honest i dont have many good things to say about the laptop in general. Firstly i will give you all the technical information then i will give you my personal experiences with the laptop. The laptop is a light and easy to carry piece of equipment and has all the essentials that are needed. It has a 15.4 " screen (which i think is a perfect size for just general leisure use).
