Acer Aspire 3003WLMi ... have had this laptop for nearly a year now and I haven t got many good things to say about the laptop. When I first received the laptop the CD drive wasn t working so I had to send it back to Acer to have it fixed. When I got it back everything started going wrong, one of the hinges broke leaving wires exposed. 2 of the 3 usb ports just refuse to work. It is very hard to get the laptop to recognise that it is plugged into AC power, it often thinks it is running on battery. The screen often flickers even when it is plugged into AC power (it did this even before the cable broke). Acer Aspire 3003WLMi ... as well as the product. For some strange reason Acer does not seem to be well know to people who are looking to buy a new computer. I wonder if they would change their minds if they knew that Acer is in fact the official supplier of computers and systems to the Formula One Maranello team. (You can in fact buy special “Ferrari” Laptops). Acer is one of the global leaders in Information Technology and they have been in partnership with the Maranello team since February 2003.
