MSI Megabook GX700 7525HD Extreme Edition:
... bought an MSI GX700 Megabook Extreme Edition last year in April. This particular model came with the 2.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor and an Nvidia 8600GT graphics card. It also came with a laptop carry bag, and MSI gaming mouse and a gaming headset which I found nice extras which I wasn t expecting for the price. MSI Megabook GX610 T6425HD Extreme Edition ... is a great gaming laptop and fantastic value for money. It looks good too, which a glossy black finish (although it will soon be riddled with finger prints if you re not careful). The screen is good, and fairly bright, with a decent viewing angle. The built-in sound is adequate, although it does tend to distort at high volume. Plug some decent headphones in though and this laptop can provide fantastic 3D sound. Gaming performance is excellent, with good frame rates thanks to the dedicated graphics adaptor combined with the dual-core processor and generous dollop of RAM. MSI Megabook PR300 7326VB ... and nice built with a magnesium alloy material a plus for this machine! LCD crystal clear can read fonts 5 ft away ;) I thought Vista would slow the machine down but it doesn t. At 1GB boot takes less than a minute which is fine for me while setting up how much more if we add RAM. Data transfer from an external device is easy and fast. keyboard is tough! video quality good! size, not too big and not too small and not heavy can be carried with 3 fingers. Nothing more to say on the good side since this is a fantastic machine, lets go down to the cons... For a notebook with 4 speakers i don t like the output which is so tiny. Multimedia keys are not different, but are accesible via Fn key. 4. 64 bit processor, but the machine can t be expanded above 2 GB RAM. Now, now... we all know this is the part you are looking for... Bad things: 1. The design is not sturdy. Here and there, and you will most probably break some internal connection. 2. MSI WARNING: *Customer support sucks!* 3. Only after a couple of months, fan started making so much noise that sleeping became difficult. 4. Dirt prone - as I said, design is crappy... 5. Mouse pad buttons are too loud and hard.
