Advantages: Great RAM and processor, large display, number pad.

Disadvantages: Slighgtly ugly-looking, heavy and it's 'multi-touch' feature does not function properly.

Having bought this laptop for good quality specifications at an extremely good price, I was not disappointed.
The massive amount of memory in conjunction with the processor gives the machine a brilliant multi-tasking ability. One notable bonus is that the startup speed is outstanding, from a completely cold start, I could log in and have the desktop up in 50 secs! Furthermore, the battery life is another surprise (for the price of the laptop), running vista home premium, it lasts about 2.5 - 3 hours. A memory card reader and a right-hand number pad a two extra perks- it does help on a laptop. A large widescreen display is great for movies in 16:9 ratio.
The critiques lie mainly in aesthetics and practicalities. It is not the thinnest of machines, and is also slightly too heavy (even without a battery in!) The keyboard sports a bluetooth button despite the laptop not having bluetooth capabilities. The touchpad has a listed multi-touch feature; pinch with two fingers (much like the iPhone) to zoom into web pages etc. The problem is that is does not work- the delay is painfully long and is generally ineffective; I would recommend disabling the multi-touch feature.
Overall, this laptop provides a great home computer, but is too large and heavy to be frequently used on the go. Well worth the price if you are looking for a high spec upgrade.

Summary: Great laptop for the price, Fantastic for home use, perhaps a little too bulky for portability.
