Very quick to set up start using. The touchpad is excellent and works brilliantly; I especially like the scroll section at the right hand side. The keyboard looks a bit strange at first but is very nice to use, and the touch sensitive buttons along the top are a nice feature. Back up disks and a recovery disks are easy to create using the built in utility. Windows 7 is very easy to use, and seems much more stable than Vista. All in all a very good product and I am very pleased with it. The only problem I had was setting up the wireless connection. I am a network engineer, so I know about these things. Ahh, the A Acer Aspire 5738G, the little laptop that I spend most of my time off work on. I received this as a warranty replacement, and I can definetely say that this is one of the best, and useful pieces of equipment that I have in my home. The laptop comes in a wide range of colours, and the one I have is the blue. It looks black until it is shone in the light, and then you notice the lovely blue tinge to it. The light that lets you know the laptop is charging, or just generally on - is also blue too, which adds a futuristic and charming look to it. We got this Laptop just before Christmas as a present to ourselves as we had never had a laptop before. After much research and debate this seemed to be the best option for us with our £500 budget and with the specification we were after. This laptop has lots of gadgets but is still very easy to use. The multi gesture touchpad on the mouse is one of my favourties because you can easily zoom in and out or rotate things at the touch of the mouse pad!
