... 7 and I'll be honest, since Windows 7 was relatively new when I bought the laptop I was wary but I can honestly say I've had no problems with it and I do find it a lot more user friendly then XP, I never used Vista and so can't make the comparison there.
The computer comes with a built-in crystal eye webcam which works well, I do have trouble using it for video calls with Skype as the sound quality deteriorates although this may be the speed of my internet rather then the laptop? My last laptop was a Toshiba and when that one died I went looking for another Toshiba but they were all out of my price range. I work from home and run my own business so needed a laptop that would be suitable for my business and portable with a decent battery life. The Acer Aspire ticked all the boxes. The set up is easy, it needed to be plugged into the mains to set itself up but beyond that there was very little for me to do.
