I purchased this from Amazon at a cost of £285 delivered and it arrived in 48 hours which I was very impressed with. The Laptop has a lovely black case and cream coloured keyeboard, the touch pad feel is a little odd at first as it is the same texture and colour as the keyboard so I often have to take my eyes off the screen to check the location of the touch pad. It has windows Vista preinstalled which takes a bit of getting used to as all other pcs in the house are on XP. This Acer Aspire laptop is definitley the perfect replacement for a home desktop system.I decided to downsize my desktop pc 9 months ago and havent regreted it since.I bought one of these laptops direct from the manufacturers website for about 700 pounds and in my local pc store i was quoted around £950.thats quite a saving!
