Firstly I must say I didn't but my Acer laptop - It is a work laptop and I had no choice over the make or model. Having said this I am pretty happy with what I got! The Acer Aspire series, although not the most expensive of the Acer range, provide a reasonable level of performance. The HDD of 100GB is plenty big enough for all my work folders, my personal photo collection from about 30 holidays, my itunes collection and other bits and pieces.
