Advantages: Able to do lots of things at once.

Disadvantages: Bad battery!

I bought this laptop last year. It was the most cost effective one at the time and I feel that it has served me well over the year that i've had it. One of the major problems for me at the beginning was that vista kept clashing with some of the programs Acer had put on there (like the webcam). After a quick call to the Acer customer services our problems were sorted out (they sent a new disck to load to fix the problems).
I think this laptop is perfect for people like me, a student! It's not expensive and it's quite capable of doing everything I tell it! I frequently have several web pages running and music and typing and it handles all of that well.
My only complaint would be that it does get incredibly hot, to the point that my leg would get red from leaning on it, I suppose I should just sit at the table really! Oh, and battery life, I don't know if something is wrong with mine, but it only has around 30 mins from when you unplug it.

Summary: Good value for money.
