This laptop is a great buy I paid just over £300 for a brand new one off Ebay. It has a dual core memory, which if you don't understand computers basically means you can run two ro more programmes at once; without slowing down (which it does do with a single hard drive. There is a fabualous spongy keyboard which is light and easy to use. One useful tip with the new dual core processor is as you have two hard drives within the laptop remember to transfer some of your files to the 'D' drive. If you have no idea how to do this just drag and drop by opening both the 'C' and 'D' drive. This has a good speed and memory. The wide crystal brights screen is great because you can gently clean the surface. The only negative I can think of is that the fan is rather loud and another useful tip is make sure there is plenty of air around the computer, as if it overheats it will shutdown instantly, as i found out when I had it on my lap on a cushion. I would certainly buy another Acer. I have had previous Dell and Advent, but love this one. One more great tip is do not leave plugged in all the time. Run down the battery each time as it will prolong your battery life.
I have just discovered you can buy a device to put your laptop on that cools the machine down. I will keep you posted on updates. Thanks for reading my review.
