Advantages: Good price, quick at processing, vista easy to use

Disadvantages: overheats ofen

Costing me just under £300 this is one of the few laptops on the market with quality at a low price. It's quick to load, can handle numerous products running simulateneously and comes with vista pre-installed.
One downside of this laptop is the rather poor tactic of the fans being positioned underneath the laoptop. Basically; leave it running for a few hours on a surface and it'll overheat and cut out. I'd suggest if you buy this laptop you get a cooling pad (cheap enough on amazon) and you shouldn't have a problem. It's not too heavy to carry around and the 15.4" widescreen display is a welcome luxury at the price. Mines still running strong after 2 years, and is as reliable as ever. The 80 GB hard drive is a good size, but will probably want cleaning up after a year or so - simple enough to do with vista. Overall; one of the best laptops at this price range.

Summary: Good laptop with a good price

I have the same problem with my 5315 starting to overheat. Have you ever cleaned out the fan? I was amazed at the amount of dust which had been sucked in and was stopping the fan from cooling properly. I now clean it out every 2 months and have no problems with overheating. If you want the instructions then PM me and i'll send you the link. :)
