This was my first ever laptop and was bought really cheaply, that said it was fantastic. It looks fairly slick but can be a bit heavy and clumbersome however it was really hardwearing surviving a couple of drops and knocks. It has a really good screen and is fab for watching videos and viewing photos. There's not much memory on this computer so if you want to store a lot of music etc. this probably isnt the laptop for you. The laptop was really easy to use though and the keys are responsive and easy to type on but they all seem to be pre-set to the usa. The main problem with this laptop was that it overheated really easily causing it to crash and just stop working in the end acer were not that interested either so its probably best only used for short periods of time and never without the proper ventilation!!
