I tend to favour Acer laptops for their reliability. The laptops I've had in the past have never let me down and so far, this one hasn't either. I've not had it long so I can't make grand statements about it, but thus far my experience with this one is very good. The screen is bright and vibrant and can still be seen in average daylight. The lid closes firmly and the whole build quality seems quite nice. I don't carry it around anywhere, but would imagine you could do so and not worry about its robustness.
