I saved up and bought this laptop myself 2 years ago, and it's really lasted considering the damage I've done to it. There have been a few virus mishaps, but the Acer 5542 pulled through as strong as ever. I've even dropped it a few times and it still works well. It runs heavy programs such as Photoshop with ease and has great hard drive space - roughly 500GB. The graphics are also great, and run games such as The Sims 3 very well too. I have only recently bought this laptop for a hefty price of £450 but by god it was worth it. The laptop comes already installed with windows 7 which is muchg better than windows xp which i had on my previous laptop.
