Acer 5552

This Acer is definitely a fantastic run for your money. For the specifications, It is amazing value.
This laptop is perfect for office applications eg.Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. So perfect for students who need to do college work. But due to quite a low processor speed, and integrated graphics card, it is not very good for playing games later than 2005/6.

Features-

Webcam-
The webcam is an integrated 3.2 Mega pixel camera. Average quality for photographs, but a lot of motion blur when recording videos. The software that comes with this webcam is "Acer Crystal Eye" Which has no built in effects but you can change certain aspects, like gamma, contrast and brightness.

Built in WiFi-
Comes with built in WiFi, Which has run perfectly and has never given me any problems, and i get my recommended internet speed for my internet provider.

Speakers-
Speakers are nothing special, But are surprisingly loud for the size of this notebook, and I have had no problems with them.

Keyboard and touch pad.
I find the keyboard is a suitable keyboard, But the keys definitely have a cheap feel, and after a while may lead to problems. The touch pad is very good, The buttons don't get stuck, and the pad operates very well.

Disk Drive-
This notepad comes with a Disk drive, which is great for watching movies and playing music CD's. You get software that comes with Windows 7 which will play these- Windows Media Centre.

Screen- The screen is just an average screen, it is not HD, and is fine in a daytime and night time setting, but i find if sunlight shines directly on it, you can't see the picture very well.

Slots- This comes with a few slots, 3 USB Slots, 1 HDMI, 1 Ethernet cable slot, and also a VGA slot. Which all work fine.
