As a student I chose the laptop which was the least expensive but could perform a number of tasks. I'm extremely pleased I purchased the Acer Aspire 5720, it carries out every task in which I bought it for and more. I can load pages up quickly with the 160gb hard drive and also store much more music, pictures etc because of the 2gb memory. I purchased this laptop from Tescos for about £349 it definately is the cheapest in its class with the other laptops boasting much less technology for nearly twice the price!
Acer is a great quality brand anyway so I didn't really need to think twice about purchasing this product. I just wish I hadn't waited for as long as I did, I can't imagine my life without this.. There are some downsides to the laptop however, for example, I'm not sure if this is just my machine but sometimes the software installed on the machine just freezes and I have to restart the whole computer, this has only happened since I have been using the internet however, I no I haven't recieved a virus, I run alot of programs at the same time which could be the problem.
I would definately recommend this laptop to anyone, the memory and hard drive capacity is one of the best your going to get for the price and it looks great too.
