Advantages: Cheap, Good specs all round

Disadvantages: Hard-Drive space

I needed a laptop for college work, i had a look around and came across the Acer Aspire 5720. The main reason that got me looking at it first was the price but then i had a look through the specs and it seemed like a decent laptop for the price, there are a few different versions of this laptop which just differ in hard-drive space, RAM or processor speed. The version that i got at first had a good boot up time, fast at loading up applications and was generally a good laptop. Graphics were reasonable and played games relatively well, the wireless connection is very stable and rarely loses connection.

Now after a year or so the laptop has decreased speed just like you would expect but the main fault with the machine is that the hard drive is only 80Gb and has been partioned so that the C drive is only 32Gb which has been filled up quickly causing some system stability.

So with this in mind if you buy this product i would recommend buying the version with a larger hard-drive.

Summary: Good for price but as stated buy the top end of the range
