When we were looking for a new laptop, every shop we were in had a huge selection, it was for my girlfriend and all she really uses it for is the internet so we didn't want to spend too much. In the end we bought this laptop from Comet. It all seemed pretty good, descent spec for the money paid.. visually it looks very nice, gloss blue exterior with a matt grey interior, the wide screen seemed crystal clear. We paid £400 for this, without any anti virus, with Norton it would have been £450.

When we got it home and opened up the box, everything was as expected, just put the battery in and away you go. The laptop semed to load up very quickly and within ten minutes it was ready to use. The screen was as clear as it looked in the shops and was lovely and bright,
i have a 10 megapixel camera and viewing photos on screen is excellent.

Connectivity is very good with the four usb ports & hd out connections, also the sd card slot in the front saves carrying cables about to connect the camera.

The battery life is very good, will easily do three hours constant use surfing the internet. Charge time is around 90minutes from 0-100%

The only one drawback i have found is that the keyboard set up isnt as easy as other computers, when i first got the machine i seemed to be making a lot of spelling errors, now i'm used to its fine. just not as easy to jump straight onto as some others i have had.

Overall a nice laptop for the money, if you are like us and just use it for the internet & the odd word document then its spot on!
