The HDD of 100GB is plenty big enough for all my work folders, my personal photo collection from about 30 holidays, my itunes collection and other bits and pieces. The reliability of the machine has been ...

next time. It developed a fault with the screen after only 4 months the screen developed lines down it, its hardly used this one becuase its quite slow. Phoned Acer first question they asked was had i paid for extra warranty when i told them no they informed me it was down to it being dropped or something being put on top of it or i must have left a pen on the keyboard, which is not what happend the lines just appeared as someone was working on it and got worse. They said i could send it back and they would charge me £41 to collect it and around £200 to repair it the thing only cost me £250. If you want cheap and cheerful then this is the one. But when it fails beware ...

This is the Acer Aspire 3613WLMi laptop computer. The list of stats it gives on the actual laptop seem like a good place to start: Intel Celeron M Processor 370 (1.5GHz, 400 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache) 15.4" WXGA CrystalBrite TFT LCD 40GB DVD-Dual double layer (Supports DVD+R Double layer/ DVD+/-RW) 512MB DDR2 (support dual-channel) 802.11 b/g wireless LAN Right so the laptop itself is pretty decent even if a little dated by now. It runs fine and at a decent speed. It has enough RAM at 512MB to not have to worry about it being able to run things unless you re after brand new games. The laptop I have is just used for text and photo editing work which it can handle ...
