I got this Laptop as a present about this time last year (August 2008). I had never had a laptop before, and I thought it would be handy to have one for university. I have to say, that this laptop is top notch! The processor/ 2gb ram combination seems to be able to put up with most day to day stresses. The two 160gb harddrives are very useful, which is a lot for laptops. The graphics card, 8400m, is good enough to play most games on low settings, and the processor seems to be able to cope quite well too. The 17in WXGA+ LCD screen is very nice, and HD clips show up very nicely on it. The laptop comes with a HD-DVD drive, which many people would say is useless as the ...

I have had this Laptop for the past 3 years now and i have to say it has treated me well over the years. There has only been one problem i have faced and that is the battery, i am still using the original battery though after about a year it began to hold less and less charge til now where i get 5 minutes out of it if i am lucky. I do not see this as a very valid complaint compared to the specs and the price you would find it in the market for. I would not recommend this laptop for anybody that is looking for something to take with them on the go as its large build and monitor are not lightweight at all.
