I got this laptop as a birthday present and i love it, it is the best laptop i have ever used. My one was installed with windows vista ultimate and this laptop has a lot of features. It is great for games and if im not mistaken a gaming laptop. If you dont care about the power of your laptop and if your not very good at tech things then you dont want this laptop.

GOOD THINGS:

The laptops has 60 days of mcfee computer secuirity/ virus protector and microsoft word. There is a one touch panel on the left of the laptop with touch sensors and it controls the volume, start, stop e.t.c and is brilliant. The picture of this product is different to mine and mine is the acer aspire 6935 which is superior to most laptops and i reccomend it. It can read blue ray discs and has a few media players like windows and acer. The surround sound is dolby home theatre and very loud. The finger print reader is also very usefull and you can set things like programmes for each finger you scan.


The built in webcam is great but some people say it's rubbish but its not its great and called the 'crystal eye'. This laptop has 2 hard drives, the windows one 144 gigabites and the acer one (data) 140 gigabites and the RAM is 4 gigabites. The HD is great and crystal clear when playing games. There's a little button on the right hand corner with a big e on it and when you press it a menu pops up and you can control your battery plans and speaker settings. The battery life is good and the wifi signal is brilliant with its built in signal up and also comes with a plug in satallite thing. There is also bluetooth so i can send things to and from my phone.

There is 4 usb slots for usb cables, a HDMI slot for a HDMI cable and a tv satallite slot so you can record and watch tv on your laptop. There is also a handy built in microphone which i like to talk to people with on msn. The lapotp its self is a c02 laptop so it doesn't over heat easily which is great because my old HP laptop was really hot to the touch.

BAD THINGS:

The finger print reader is faulty now for some reason and every few minutes triggers something when the mouse goes to the botton of the screen and if i have something in full screen, for example a movie it closes it. Sometimes the screen switches off and i cant see anything for about a minute or two. The preinstalled microsoft word and power point is only a 60 day trial and when you use it all up you can uninstall it and re install it, you need a product key. Only recently when i take my laptop off of charge it runs all slowly and doesnt function properly.

The signal up mini plug in sattalite is very prone to snapping because i did it my self and it doesnt stand up so you have to hang it on something with its little plastic hook thing. When im listening to my music the speaker go all tinny and doesnt stop untill like a few hours. The laptop has tons of stuff to do with acer like trial games and stuff pre-installed on it which eats up loads of space so i reccomend deleting a lot of it because it is rubbish but be carefull what you un-uninstall/delete.

Sometimes by accident i sweep the finger reader with the back of my hand when im typing and it deletes a chunk of writing so i might un-unstall the finger print reader programme so i dont have all this trouble.
