if its a laptop your after then this is the best value for money youl find apart from another acer

a quick one before bedtime lol.

im not sure what the RRP of this is but i got mine for £449.99 in PC world (without internet security) and at the time it was and still is phenominal value for money. for this you get.

      17.3in HD widescreen (16:9)
      500gb hard drive
Athlon II M300 / 2 GHz processor (equivalent to intels dual core)
      DVD±RW (±R DL) capabilities
      4gb of RAM
i actually got an upgrade of the graphics card to a gaming one in mine so its even better than the standard Mobility Radeon HD 4570
      2mb cache

if you can find a spec as good as that for the same price or less ill eat my review hat (metaphor, i will not eat a hat)

the laptop its self is brilliant, the webcam is good enough to actually take photos and be able to show them without bieng grainy or blurry which is always nice.

battery life is aweful as the screen is so big, it lasts around 80 mins on the highest setting but the way i always look at it is. a laptop is portable it goes wherever you go and where i go im never too far away from a plug he he. unless you are looking to take it on the train etc which im guessing you might as well have mug me written on your head but i know people still do this.

its a very quick machine and as of yet 3 months on ive never had any problems with it. its very easy to use and it practically runs itself and updates regularly from acer, its well supported.

overall. top laptop, the only thing i would recommend other than this would be a 17in macbook but im lead to believe they cost around 1500 quid :/
