Advantages: Great for media, excellent screen and sound

Disadvantages: Ocassionally overheats, and the battery life could be abit longer!

I bought this laptop in August 2008, as my desktop computer was in need of replacing! My immediate reaction was how great in was when watching video and listening to music, the sound quality is fantastic, and is noticably higher quality from most other laptops I've heard recently. The 2 x 160gb harddrives are invaluable, and much higher than the average laptop, which is great if you have plenty of files, as it's quite unlikely you'll require an external harddrive! The LCD screen is very good quality, and does live up to expectations when watching anything HD, which mixed with the sound quality make s agreat viewing experience. Although, I did have to send the Laptop back to have the screen replaced after around 4 months of owning it, which was a big pain, but I put it down to it just being an odd fault, as I've not heard it's too common with this model. The oly other problem I've had is the laptop overheating a few times recently when playing games, although this is down to my fault of having it on my lap or suffocating the fan. The battery life is reasonable, after being fully charged it tends to last a good 2 hours with me, with just web browsing etc. and has a handy power saving scheme which you can use to make it last the little big longer. The webcam is very good quality for a built-in camera, and the settings are also quite handy to get the perfect picture you need.

I'd highly recommend this laptop, it's been no less than great for me, and I'm sure it would be for you too.
