Rating:
I spent a long time researching before finally settling on a laptop, and the Acer Aspire 5920 was the one i decided on. Best in its class for price, speed, memory, screen size and quality, and general all-round shiny-ness! Supplied with windows vista, i was slightly dubious as I d heard bad things about the operating system. However I ve found it very good to work with, though having installed various programmes and anti-virus the computer is now very slow to start-up. We do have occassional problems with the wireless - it does not always find and connect to the broadband, but pressing the wireless button a few times to disable and enable it again usually rectifies ...

on getting the Acer Aspire 5920G. This was due to its specs as well as its price. All i needed for uni, was a laptop that played music, use the internet and be relatively quick. I believe it does achieve all these aspects. After a while, i occured a problem with the laptop. When using it, sometimes the screen would just jump ...

even mine. I am, however, allowed to play with it whenever my sister s back is turned which I suppose is better than nothing. My sister paid £490 for her Acer Aspire 5920 about a month ago and it is really really beautiful, and an awful lot better than any laptop that I ve ever had. The Acer Aspire 5920 s processor is Intel Core 2 Duo T5550. Memory is 2 GB RAM [which from my experience is fine for general use. If you are programming or gaming then you may want more]. It comes with a 250GB Hard drive and the graphics card is Mobile Intel GM965 Express chipset with with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. Additional Software is Acer Empowering Technology, Acer Arcade ...
