The acer Timeline range are fantastically light and slim, and of a much better build quality than acers usual offerings. The battery life exceeds 8 hours if used in balanced or power saving mode, however, using these functions does slow it down considerably. The 15.6 inch screen and full keyboard are huge, but being less than 1in thick it is easy to transport in a backpack. The screen is bright and clear and great for watching movies on, however the sound lets the timeline down as it is very quiet, to the point of being almost inaudible with any background noise.
