The Acer Timeline 3810T is a very compact, light and very portable laptop, which makes it very handy for using on the move. The battery lasts several hours, which is very impressive compared to all the laptops I have previously had.

I bought the Timeline primarily for editing videos and it works perfectly fine for this, and has handled everything else I have thrown at it. The machine starts up very quickly and has been pretty reliable since I bought it.

The only real downside is the quality of the screen, which is not in the same league as the Sony true-black on my last one. The screen is pretty standard, so is fine for normal tasks, but can't quite compete with the Sony when it comes to watching video and editing graphics.

That said, portability and capability is what I bought this one for and at the time I bought it was the best value on the market. If you're looking for a light-weight, compact computer I would definitely recommend the Timeline!
